Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician, with a main responsibility of servicing, fault-finding and breakdown requests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Responding to external service and breakdown requests.
* Installation and commissioning on large hydraulic projects.
* Serving our customers' needs by studying system requirements and developing proactive responses to faults, maintenance or modernisation topics.
* Fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting.
* Hydraulic system fault finding and testing.
* Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, and identifying any spare parts opportunities.
* Maintaining customer confidentiality.
* Preparing service quotations and following up with customers.
* Uploading all relevant External Service documentation including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, and service reports.
* Ensuring quality control through documenting tests and installations, including supplying customer documentation.
* Conducting on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing on Hydraulic components and associated equipment.
* Regular customer contact and client management, offering best solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
* Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent
* 5 years field service or hydraulic system experience
* Competent level of hydraulic knowledge
* High focus on Quality and attention to detail
* Dynamic performer and achiever
* Planning and organisational skills
