Bluerydge is seeking Senior Network Engineers to design, build, and operate secure, mission-critical network infrastructure within complex ICT environments.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure network environments across Defence and Federal Government.
You will work across complex ICT systems, delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performance network solutions in classified environments.
NOTE: Minimum NV1 Security Clearance required (NV2 and TSPV highly regarded).
Salary Range
Salaries for Senior Network Engineer roles typically range from $150,000 to $200,000, depending on experience and clearance level.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather business & technical requirements with stakeholders
* Design, build, and deploy network solutions
* Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls
* Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
* Contribute to secure gateway design and implementation
* Produce technical documentation and support solution acceptance
* Provide technical advice and support project delivery
Skills and Experience
* Minimum NV1 Security Clearance required
* Experience in network engineering within secure/complex environments
* Strong Cisco experience (Catalyst, Nexus, routing & switching)
* Hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM (VTC support)
* Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
* Knowledge of Citrix ADC / load balancing technologies
* Exposure to Cisco Expressway desirable
* Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, security)
* Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
* Able to work independently and manage priorities
* Good communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders
