We are partnered with a Tier 1 contractor that need a Project Engineer to support on their Road Infrastructure - Stabilization team.
You will have full oversight of project delivery, ensuring safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets are met, while managing client and subcontractor relationships and reporting performance to senior management for your scope of works.
Daily Tasks
* Prepare and maintain management plans, including site-specific assessments for Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and traffic control requirements.
* Prepare and manage all permits required to complete planned works in accordance with company policies.
* Manage internal financial systems, including raising and tracking purchase orders and assisting with the processing of incoming invoices.
* Participate in tender reviews and provide support to the estimating and tendering team as required.
* Liaise with site supervisors to ensure the timely collection of all required information and documentation.
* Track daily costs against approved budgets, identify potential issues, and report outcomes to the Department Manager.
* Provide contractual support to site supervisors, including management of variations, extensions of time, and non-conformances.
* Oversee safety management requirements, including MSDS, SWMS, and incident reporting.
* Prepare lot packages by collating and submitting all relevant documentation to clients in a timely manner.
* Foster and maintain strong client relationships following project completion.
Ideal Profile:
* 3+ years experience as a Project Engineer
* Experience in Road Infrastructure projects
* Willingness and ability to travel and work away from home across regional NSW
* Holder of a current, valid C-Class Driver Licence
* Holder of a current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
