Responsibilities
Fremantle Mental Health are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our adult acute service. Successful applicants will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating recovery oriented and trauma-informed Occupational Therapy services to consumers using advanced clinical practice skills. Senior Occupational Therapists coordinate the inpatient group therapy program, supervise occupational therapy staff, therapy assistants and students in the unit/clinical area as well as coordinate duties.

Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on high quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area of more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth. Essential Information
This is a recruitment process for Permanent Full-Time or Fixed Term Full-Time appointment for 1 FTE (76 hours per fortnight) with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. This selection process may be used to fill other similar vacancies within the health service for up to 12 months from the date of endorsement.
