About the Role
Sourcify is seeking a skilled Vehicle Painter to join a professional automotive repair and refinishing workshop in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and protective finishes
- Perform colour matching and blending for repairs
- Operate spray-painting equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain equipment and work areas in clean and safe condition
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Painter or Spray Painter
- Solid knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and colour matching
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
