THE ROLE Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Safeguards, this position will contribute to embedding quality & safeguarding and continuous improvement related activities across Disability Homes Victoria. The Senior Policy Officer role will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic projects focussed on service improvement in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) service delivery, as well as ensuring the department meets its NDIS provider and legislative obligations. This role would suit someone with experience in legislative compliance and policy analysis, with a passion for uplifting organisational and workforce capability. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE * Design and deliver projects that uplift quality and safeguarding and enhance the provision of SDA service delivery to residents, in partnership with other DFFH teams. * Identify and perform analysis on quality and safeguarding issues, develop solutions and practical strategies to resolve issues. * Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues to guide and influence the department's quality and safeguarding priorities Please open the position description to read more.
