Health & Safety Advisor – Data Centre Projects (Denmark)

They are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their Data Centre team in Denmark. This role offers the opportunity to drive best-in-class health, safety, and environmental practices across multiple sites, ensuring a culture of competence, knowledge sharing, and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example and promote a positive, safety-first culture across projects.
Provide industry-leading HSE advice to project teams and stakeholders.
Conduct audits and inspections of workplaces, guided by the BU HSE Manager.
Attend sites following accidents/incidents, assist with investigations, and lead where necessary.
Liaise with enforcement authorities during investigations when required.
Support the HSE Manager in preparing health and safety reports for senior management.
Alert the HSE Manager to potential gaps in HSE coverage.
Support tender and pre qualification processes with practical HSE solutions when required.
Attend project start-up and supply chain meetings to ensure HSE compliance.
Deliver training to site teams on health and safety matters.
Stay updated on critical legislative changes and best practices to provide competent advice.
Recognize limitations and ensure HSE guidance remains within professional scope.
Required Experience & Skills
Tech IOSH certification (or equivalent).
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Understanding of performance management in a construction environment.
Qualifications
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
NVQ Level 4 / EFQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
Temporary Works knowledge.
Internal Auditor certification.
Local PD / CDM & PSDP / PSCS training.
Awareness of lifting operations (BS **** / IS361).
Temporary Works awareness including TWC role knowledge.
Incident Investigation training.
