Job Description
This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable families by providing parenting support and case management services.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with an Aboriginal Family Support Worker to deliver interventions that aim to improve outcomes for children and focus on parents/carers.
* Provide counseling, case management, and parenting support to families in need.
* Manage cases within the context of child and family services, facilitating case conferences as required.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Social Work or a related field, with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Demonstrated experience in providing parenting support to vulnerable families, including counseling, case management, and parenting support.
* Experience in case management and facilitating case conferences.
* A current NT Driver's License.
