What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing metal roofing and re-roofing installations, including measuring, cutting, and securing roofing sheets
- Executing roof painting and roof pointing tasks with proper surface preparation and application techniques
- Conducting roof repairs and skylight maintenance or installations, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
- Managing roofing materials and equipment, maintaining inventory and ensuring tools are ready for use
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas in compliance with safety protocols, including proper disposal of waste and hazard management
- Shadowing and learning from senior tradespeople on site during the probation period, focusing on understanding company systems, procedures, and workflows, with increasing independence and responsibility as familiarity grows
What We’re Looking For
- Previous labouring or construction experience (roofing experience is a plus)
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and a keen willingness to learn recent skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
- Fast progression for experienced roofers
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
