Our Creative Centre is an energy-filled, fast-paced environment. We are seeking new employees to join the day shift with sound chocolate experience to help make our delectable range of chocolates.
You will be responsible for
- Making chocolate pralines, bars and products to the highest quality in an efficient manner
- Preparation of ganache, bases and fillings involving cooking and portioning
- Tempering of chocolate, hand moulding, panning and enrobing of chocolates
- Operating equipment and machinery used in the chocolate making process
- Hand decorating of pralines and chocolate products
- Working flexibly and hands on as an individual and part of a team
- General cleaning and handling duties involved in working in a food safe and high-quality food production environment
- Experience in chocolate production and making, along with a sound understanding of chocolate, flavours and textures
- Qualifications in chocolate or pastry
- A passion for producing high-quality chocolate products
- Energy and motivation to achieve high standards and work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of operating to HACCP standards in a food production environment
