The Opportunity
We're currently seeking an experienced Hook & Skip Truck Driver to join our Waste Operations team in Port Hedland. This is a residential, full-time position, ideal for a skilled, reliable and safety conscious operator who takes pride in safety, teamwork, and getting the job done right.
•This is not a FIFO role
•Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Port Hedland
•Accommodation (rental) subsidy provided

About You
We're looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and safety-focused — and ready to contribute to a high-performing team. You'll bring:
•A valid and current HR licence (MC licence desirable)
•White Card (construction induction)
•Previous hook/skip truck experience (ticket or prior VOC advantageous)
•A clean driving record
•Experience working in mining or high-compliance environments
•Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
•Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and competently
•Full working rights in Australia.
•Strong safety awareness and a proactive mindset
•Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to getting the job done
Key Responsibilities
•Safely and efficiently operate skip bin and hook lift trucks
•Deliver and collect bins at mine sites and designated locations
•Perform daily pre-start and end-of-day vehicle checks
•Adhere to traffic management plans and road rules
•Keep vehicles and work areas clean and tidy
•Accurately complete job sheets and reports
•Interact professionally with clients and site personnel
•Report any defects, safety concerns, or issues immediately
•Comply with all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
