With over 70 years of consistent growth and a strong global reputation for quality, application expertise, and customer support, they have built a brand that stands the test of time and continually evolves.
Their Australasian operations are based on the Gold Coast, and they are now looking to expand their reach with an additional Sales Representative in the Melbourne region.
About the Role
This is an autonomous, home-based role ideal for a proactive and technically minded sales qualified. You will be responsible for managing and growing existing client relationships while identifying and converting new opportunities within your territory.
Backed by full product training and continuous support from the Australian GM and a highly skilled technical team in HQ Germany, you will become part of a small but dedicated local team that values integrity, expertise, and results.
Primary area will be the industrial suburbs of Melbourne and some regional areas. As market potential develops, the ability to periodically travel to other southern states will be requisite.
Serve as the main point of contact for your client portfolio, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and accurate CRM records.
Manage sales activities within assigned customer groups, channels, and territories.
Build and deepen client relationships by understanding needs and delivering technical, solution-based advice.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through customer, market, and competitor analysis.
Participate in ongoing training to develop into a local product expert.
Evolve with the company presence in the Australian market with a view to further expansion in the southern and western states.
What We are Looking For
Proven sales experience, ideally within a solution-based and technical focused environment.
Strong technical aptitude – able to understand and communicate product diagrams and applications. A full comprehension of engineering drawings is a distinct advantage.
Self-starter with a strategic, research-driven approach to sales.
Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and sales targets.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Competent with CRM systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Current driver's licence and home office space (company will provide laptop and phone).
Australian work rights are required for this position.
