Investment Operating Model Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Investment Operating Model Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our investment operations team, you will be at the forefront of technology and operating model transformation, working across a wide range of asset classes and investment teams.
You will collaborate with stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds, both internally and externally to formulate and deliver solutions that future-proof our organisation and protect the financial interests of our members.
You will leverage your broad understanding of technology solutions and architectures in Investments, with deep familiarity of the underlying architecture of platforms such as Aladdin, Calypso, Bloomberg, iLevel or similar, together with strong understanding of Investment data flows, the different requirements of IBOR vs ABOR and both listed and unlisted assets.
You will know how aggregated investment data views are built and set up robust, scalable operating models that support our strategic goals.
A researcher at heart, you will stay ahead of technology best practice by building strong relationships with vendors, competitors, and internal stakeholders.
You will wear a project management hat to implement changes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our operating model is agile, compliant, and ready for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Broad understanding of technology solutions in the Investments domain, with hands-on experience across asset classes.
* Familiarity with investment data flows, IBOR vs ABOR, and the architecture of platforms such as Aladdin, Calypso, Bloomberg, iLevel or similar.
* A strong understanding of how risk is viewed in a large multi-asset manager environment and how to design future-proof technology and operating models.
* Research-driven mindset, with a passion for staying abreast of technology best practice and industry trends.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors, competitors, and internal stakeholders.
* Project management capability, able to implement changes that drive success and member value.
* Experience working in Fund Management, Asset Management, Hedge Funds, or Investment Banking.
* Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, or a related discipline.
* Team player, able to work effectively at all levels and influence others towards consensus.
