The Opportunity
CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Planner to join our Site Support Services team on a permanent 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Superintendent – Site Support Services, this role involves daily and strategic planning and scheduling of crane and ancillary equipment across all departments from Pit to Port.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contribute to budgeted cost control through planning systems for operations and maintenance.
2. Support continual improvement in processes, plant, and equipment, including weekly planning, shutdown planning, and safe work procedures.
3. Prepare KPI, budget, and cost reports.
4. Ensure effective planning through communication with maintenance, supply, operations, and management.
5. Produce long-term plans using SAP and Microsoft Project.
6. Manage work orders from opening to closing.
7. Confirm resource requirements with relevant business areas.
Qualifications and Experience
1. A current Driver's Licence.
2. Previous planning/scheduling experience.
3. Extensive practical knowledge of ancillary plant and equipment operation.
4. Exposure to maintenance planning techniques and computerised maintenance systems.
