Founded in 2014 and incorporated in 2018, The Sky’s The Limit Behaviour Services (TSTL) is a small, values-driven provider of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services. About The Role: Behaviour Therapist
As a Behaviour Therapist at TSTL, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients in building essential life skills, reducing challenging behaviours, and achieving goals and milestones. You’ll work in homes, schools, and community settings, tailoring your approach to each client’s unique strengths and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions, using a variety of evidence-based approaches (e.g., DTT, PRT, VB).
* Build rapport and trust with clients and their families, creating a safe, positive, and collaborative environment.
* Implement structured and play-based learning activities that foster communication, social, and adaptive skills.
* Monitor, collect, and analyse behavioural data to track progress and inform intervention adjustments.
* Respond to challenging behaviours with empathy, consistency, and positive reinforcement strategies.
* Collaborate closely with Behaviour Analysts/Psychologists/Behaviour Support Practitioners and the broader care team to review progress and adapt plans.
* Participate in monthly team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing supervision for professional growth.
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
* Uphold TSTL’s values in every client interaction and act with integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
Selection Criteria
* Level 1 (Junior): No experience required
* Level 2 (Senior): Experience required
* Experience working with children, autistic individuals, or those with neurodevelopmental delays (essential)
* Currently completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related allied health discipline
* Minimum availability: 10 hours/week
* Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable)
* Willingness to complete ABA therapy certification if not already held
* Current Victorian WWCC, National Police Check (within the last 12 months), and NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
* Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident and already residing in Australia. Overseas applicants and visa sponsorships are not accepted.
