Overview

$124,393 - $140,315 (+ up to 15.4% Superannuation)

The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is an historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. The whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver the cutting edge nuclear-powered submarine program will transform Australia's economic and national security landscape for decades to come.

Responsibilities

* Accountable for leading a team, managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes.
* Accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, share own expertise with others and guide and mentor less experienced employees.
* Manage, plan and coordinate the delivery of a full range of day-to-day executive functions for the provision of corporate support to a Senior Executive Officer, including correspondence, quality assurance, facilitation of timely responses and finance management, including end-of-month accounting and forward financial estimates.
* Manage senior committee meetings, seminars, conferences, and prepare and coordinate very complex documentation and briefing material.
* Advise and provide guidance on financial issues, human resource and administrative procedures, including the interpretation and application of policy in these areas.
* Identify, manage and delegate where necessary emerging sensitive personnel, FOI, and operational matters.

* Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, in a team environment.
* Effective office management and administrative / coordination support skills including ministerial submissions, financial reporting, workforce coordination, accommodation, and managing a small team
