An exciting opportunity has presented itself within our Launceston office for a motivated junior who is keen to build a long-term career in the legal profession, with the intention of being trained as a conveyancer.
This role is ideally suited to someone at the beginning of their career who takes pride in their work, is eager to learn, and is looking for hands-on exposure to a busy legal practice.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance of deed and safe custody areas
* Maintenance of the archive system
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting legal and conveyancing staff with administrative matters
* Data entry and file management
* Reception duties and client interaction
* Deliveries and general office support
* General maintenance of the office
* Attending settlements
As the role progresses, the successful candidate will be supported and trained in conveyancing processes, gaining exposure to property transactions, documentation and client matters.
Progression and Training
The successful candidate will undertake a registered traineeship, and, once employment has commenced, will be enrolled in a Business Administration Certificate III, with a focus on the legal and conveyancing industry.
