Experienced professionals are sought after to fill a part-time Assistant Finance Manager role. The selected candidate will provide critical support to the finance team during a 12-month period.
Key Responsibilities
* Management accounts, variance analysis, KPIs, and balance sheet accounting.
* Financial analysis reporting and group reporting, adhering to deadlines.
* Annual budgets and forecasting, including re-forecasting.
* Monthly and year-end reporting, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliation.
* Monthly VAT submissions and all associated HMRC regulatory requirements and reconciliations.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Fixed Asset register maintenance.
* Stock management reporting and analysis, bill of material and pricing updates.
* Project accounting system management.
* Cash management.
* Internal and external stakeholder management with suppliers and customers, the Bank, and other financial institutions.
* Liaising with external auditors and finalisation of the year-end accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
* Proven experience working as a Management Accountant.
* Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong IT skills, specifically Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, able to work efficiently under pressure.
* Ability to multitask.
* Desire to make improvements and efficiencies.
