Job Opportunity:
As a Special Counsel, you will work in Canberra's leading commercial legal practice. This role involves working on a diverse range of commercial and regulatory transactions, including aviation, venture capital, water and energy.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Work as a senior lawyer in private practice or equivalent level in-house
* Proven experience as a commercial lawyer with the ability to act as a 2IC
* Manage client relationships and assist the Partner in the management of the overall practice
* Travel as required for work-related purposes
* Experience in both advice and transactional work with the ability to take a lead role on matters with autonomy
Requirements
* Senior Associate or Special Counsel level in private practice or equivalent level in-house
* Proven experience as a commercial lawyer
* Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Driven, self-starter with a focus on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to clients
