About the Career Comeback Program
Our 12-week Career Comeback Program is designed to support talented professionals as they transition back into the workforce. You'll join us in a permanent role within our Financial Crime Operations team, with specialised support including:

About the team
Our Financial Crime Operations Strategy and Performance team is part of a 2,000-strong community of professionals dedicated to protecting the bank and our customers. We lead the Group's response to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing and sanctions compliance. Our work matters, and we are proud of the purpose that drives us.
About the role
As Manager, Business Performance, you will play a key role in delivering initiatives that uplift the way we work. You will help translate complex policies into practical, efficient solutions. You will lead change projects and partner with stakeholders across the business to improve operational outcomes that keep our customers and community safe.
On any given day, you will:
* Lead and deliver projects that improve productivity, quality and compliance
* Identify automation opportunities and partner with Technology to bring them to life
* Translate financial crime policies into actionable business processes
* Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines, risks and stakeholder engagement
* Facilitate workshops and use data-driven insights to influence decisions
* Collaborate across the Group to build engagement and gain support for improvements
* Support training and uplift programs to build team capability
* Provide subject matter expertise in AML, CTF, sanctions and operational risk
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
We're interested in hearing from people who
* Have been on a career break for two years or more (essential)
* Have permanent Australian working rights
* Bring experience in Banking Operations, Financial Crime, regulation or law enforcement
* Are curious, proactive and eager to learn
* Are confident communicators who build strong relationships and influence at all levels
* Have experience leading projects, improving processes and driving change
* Think critically, simplify complexity and take initiative
* Have qualifications or experience in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, project or change management (highly regarded but non-essential)
