About the Role
This position is for a skilled Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in Sydney, NSW.
Job Description
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform maintenance tasks on aircraft engines and equipment;
2. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure airworthiness;
3. Maintain accurate records of work performed;
4. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals;
5. Continuously improve skills and knowledge to meet industry standards.
Requirements:
* LAME's must be unrestricted and hold both A320/321 V2500 and NEO LEAP 1-A CASA licence;
* Hold a Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical);
* A-Check experience is highly desirable;
* Be familiar with aviation regulatory requirements and standards, particularly regarding airworthiness and maintenance control;
* Have experience working within a Safety Management System;
* Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels within a team;
* Be practical and resourceful with demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills;
* Be resourceful with a can-do attitude.
