Your new role
Hays are looking for an underground Rock Tools Technician. A rock tools technician works between the workshop and the underground mine.
Key responsibilities:
* Remove all worn and damaged rock tools from the drill sites
* Safely transport drilling consumables such as drill bits and drill steels to various drill rigs underground.
* Ensure smooth and efficient rock drilling operations, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous underground experience - ideally nippering or drill offsiding
* Ability to drive LV's safely underground
* Valid C class licence
* Ability to pass a full pre-empoyment medical and drug and alcohol screen
* Valid police clearance
What you'll get in return
* Hourly rate from $40/hr
* Weekly pay cycle
* Super paid on all hours worked
