Job Description:
CHARMM is a versatile program for atomic-level simulation of many-particle systems, particularly macromolecules of biological interest. - M. Karplus
This position involves working as an Associate Research Fellow in computational chemistry at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC).
The project will be conducted in close collaboration with QUBIC groups and other collaborators to develop quantum tools and computational techniques to study single proteins with unprecedented speed and specificity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* PhD in Chemistry, Physics or related fields
* Knowledge and skill set applicable to multiscale modelling including physics-based or data-driven models
* Demonstrated experience in developing and applying computational techniques to biological systems
* Familiarity with high-performance computing and significant experience with programming and scripting
* Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences
