The Division

The Commissioning and Contracting Division is responsible for Communities' goods and services and community services procurement activities, managing service agreements and grants collectively valued at almost $1 billion. To ensure success, it's important that we work closely with our colleagues across the Department – as One Communities - One Team.

The Opportunity

As a Manager Assurance, you will be responsible for:

* undertaking assurance activities to identify any potential areas of risk or areas of improvement and make recommendations for policy and procedural changes to ensure ongoing quality outcomes for the Commissioning and Contracting Division.
* leading the development, implementation and management of audit regimes to provide assurance that the Divisions' contracts are compliant with contractual obligations and service delivery requirements and promotes leading practice of quality standards, risk management and assurance in terms of management standards, methodologies, and processes.
* using data matching and analytics to provide the Division with information about adherence to policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations.

There are currently 1 permanent position available for immediate filling and 1 fixed term position available for immediate filling for a period of 18 months.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.
