Playtonomy is seeking a passionate and skilled Child and Family Therapist to join our This position involves providing therapeutic support to children and families through individual and caregiver-focused counselling sessions. The role is well suited to a clinician who values relationship-based, developmentally informed, and strengths-focused practice, and who enjoys working collaboratively with families.
You will work with children and/or caregivers to support emotional regulation, attachment, behaviour, and wellbeing, using approaches aligned with Playtonomy's child-centred philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide counselling and therapeutic support to children and/or their caregivers
* Use play-based, relational, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches
* Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and session documentation
* Collaborate with caregivers and, where appropriate, other professionals
* Maintain ethical, professional, and trauma-informed practice
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,814.12 – $119,028.20 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
Education:
* Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
* Clinical counselling: 2 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Preferred)
