About The RoleThis is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on industrial electrical design, automation integration and site commissioning. You will act as a technical lead on projects while working closely with technicians and site teams to deliver practical electrical and control solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical design activities across industrial projects Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, schematics and work packs Ensure designs comply with Australian standards including AS3000 Support integration of PLC and control systems Participate in site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting Coordinate with technicians, electricians and clients during project delivery Mentor junior engineers and review technical work Assist with technical scoping, quoting and project planning Additional InformationEmployment type: Permanent, full-time Location: Brisbane, QLD Travel: Mostly local site visits with occasional regional travel Working rights: Full Australian working rights required (no visa sponsorship) RequirementsAbout You6-10+ years experience in industrial electrical engineering Strong electrical design capability and documentation experience Hands-on commissioning or industrial site experience Familiar with AS3000 and Australian electrical standards Experience working with technicians and site teams Exposure to automation or control systems integration QualificationsBachelor of Engineering (Electrical or related discipline) RPEQ, CPEng, or working toward registration preferred Valid driver's licence Full Australian working rights required Nice to HaveExperience in manufacturing, mining or industrial facilities Hazardous area exposure Exposure to PLC or SCADA systems Some experience with project estimation or scoping BenefitsSalary $165k-$187k + super Diverse industrial engineering projects Exposure to full project lifecycle delivery Collaborative team with in-house trades and technicians Pathway toward technical leadership or engineering management#J-18808-Ljbffr
