Clean Collective is a leading premium beverage brand founded seven years ago in New Zealand. Since inception, we have become one of the highest-selling and fastest-growing independent beverage companies in the domestic market. We pride ourselves on crafting premium, "better-for-you" alcoholic and non-alcoholic premixes. We are rapidly growing throughout the Australian market with our alcohol range are excited to continue our growth by hiring a new Key Account Manager based in Sydney. This KAM role will encompass both our Alcoholic Premix and Non-Alc Energy Premix range, so experience in either beverage segment would be extremely valuable.
Purpose of Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our Sydney team and manage our Key Accounts in the AU alcohol sector and also introduce our non-alcoholic Energy drink range to the NSW market through some strategic Key Accounts. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with major retailers, ensuring exceptional execution of sales strategies, and driving growth within this competitive market. The key purpose of this role is to drive ranging, distribution, and sales within the NSW/VIC/QLD market, while actively looking for opportunities to expand the business in both categories.
Responsibilities
Successfully growing ranging and distribution of products within the key retailers.
Manage a successful launch into larger retail channel within NSW, Victoria and Queensland. Identify growth opportunities and optimise sales resources and execution.
Develop and execute sales strategy to drive growth and enhance brand visibility within stores.
Facilitate and manage the range review process with key accounts while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
Create and implement a promotional plan with the key accounts from a head office level, ensure compliance on an in store level.
Working in conjunction with the marketing team, you will help drive brand awareness and customer preference in store.
Manage the pricing submission process with key accounts, and work with Directors to make sure margin expectations are being achieved while remaining competitive within market.
Create and agree on an activation calendar with planned activities for each quarter of a rolling 12-month cycle.
Negotiate and manage commercial trading terms with key accounts to ensure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
Partner with the Field Sales team to ensure strategic head office agreements are executed effectively at the store level and to maximize in-store opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in key account management or business development within liquor sector. Or at least 5 years' experience in the FMCG industry and have a genuine interest in the alcohol sector.
Experience working with Endeavour Group, Coles, ALM, LMG, ILG, would be very beneficial.
Knowledge and passion for premium beverage, especially in the alcohol sector.
Proven track record of successful management of key accounts and sales growth.
Strong communication, negotiation skills, and analytical skills.
Result-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities to build and maintain relationships.
Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce or relevant tertiary education would be desirable but not essential.
