Decor Systems is Australia's leading supplier of architectural acoustic solutions. We collaborate with architects, designers, builders, and contractors to bring cutting-edge projects to life. Our work is featured in iconic projects such as the Sydney Theatre Company, The Playhouse Theatre in Canberra, the University of Queensland, and Capital Square in Perth.

We're growing and need someone with the drive, energy, and commercial acumen to join our A-team in Victoria. You'll work alongside the small but mighty Vic team to support projects across the state.

About the Role

Your role will be to drive specifications and sales across Victoria, working closely with our Sales Coordinator and Specification Manager. Together, you will engage with architects, designers, builders, and subcontractors to secure Decor Systems as the preferred solution for major projects, ensuring we are specified, tendered, and ultimately selected.

This is a high-impact sales role. You'll be responsible for:

* Supporting the Specification Manager in generating specifications with architects and designers to position Decor Systems as the preferred solution.
* Driving builder engagement by ensuring our products are priced into tenders and value-managed appropriately.
* Closing deals by working proactively with contractors and subcontractors to secure orders and drive revenue.
* Managing projects through the full sales cycle, ensuring we remain engaged from initial specification through to final order placement.

Key Responsibilities

Specification & Relationship Support

* Support the Specification Manager in developing strong relationships with top-tier architecture and design firms.
* Assist in the delivery of presentations, CPDs, and design consultations to help secure product specifications.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor communications for key accounts and project opportunities.
* Help strengthen project documentation to increase specification retention.

Builder & Contractor Engagement

* Work with the Sales Representative to engage with builders and subcontractors during the tender stage.
* Support pricing, value management, and negotiation strategies to improve conversion rates.
* Build rapport with contractors and site teams to ensure our products are understood, preferred, and correctly installed.

Project Coordination & Conversion

* Monitor project leads and assist in early-stage engagement.
* Follow up on awarded projects to maintain momentum and stay front-of-mind.
* Provide support across logistics, procurement timing, and documentation to help secure the final order.

What we're looking for

This role requires a high-energy, commercially savvy individual who is comfortable engaging across all levels of the project sales cycle.

* Proven experience in project sales or specification sales, ideally within the architectural, construction, or building materials industries.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation ability.
* Strategic mindset - able to navigate the complexities of the whole project sales process.
* Comfortable working independently while being a team player.
* Ability to travel interstate as needed.
