Xavier Children’s Support Network is seeking a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children, young people, adults with disability, and aged care clients across the Eight Mile Plains, Ipswich and Logan regions. This community-based role provides clinical, operational, and administrative support to Allied Health Professionals to deliver person-centred therapy services that improve participation, independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Support Allied Health Professionals in delivering therapy programs and therapeutic activities Assist with individual and group-based sessions including hydrotherapy, equipment trials, and community-based interventions Implement delegated therapy activities in line with client care plans and clinical direction Monitor client progress and report concerns or changes to supervising clinicians Maintain accurate clinical documentation, records, and service notes Coordinate appointments, schedules, waitlists, and client administration tasks Prepare and maintain therapy equipment, resources, and clinical environments Support billing, funding, and service delivery processes Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers, and stakeholders Participate in supervision, professional development, and quality improvement activities About You You are organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting people with diverse needs to achieve meaningful outcomes. Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or current undergraduate studies in an Allied Health discipline Experience in disability, paediatrics, community health, and/or aged care settings Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills Understanding of professional boundaries, multidisciplinary practice, and person-centred care Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and National Police Check Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Current Queensland Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle Willingness to travel across the Brisbane region Australian working rights, citizenship, or permanent residency Why Join Xavier?
