The People Project Tasmania is a not-for-profit incorporated association that exists to ensure communities have access to general practice, nursing, allied health, disability and aged care services in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities.
Our organisation is one of seven Rural Workforce Agencies (RWA) in Australia. TPPT is funded by the Australian and Tasmanian Governments and is the coordinating RWA for a range of national initiatives. TPPT also delivers the Health Workforce Scholarship Program, is a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management and has just commenced Care Coordination for people with a My Aged Care package.

Opportunity
At the AGM in October 2025 there will be two vacant Board positions. The Board is seeking expressions of interest from candidates to join the Board as non-executive directors. Applicants with current or previous experience in practice management, health service delivery, business/financial skills and lived or sector experience in disability or aged care are strongly encouraged to apply.
