Dum n Rum is an Authentic Kerala restaurant and has three branches- Stafford Heights(4053), Spring Mountain and Annerley in Queensland.
Our journey began with opening our first restaurant in September 2020 at Stafford Heights. This was followed by our next venture in January 2024 at Spring Mountain, and we proudly opened our third branch in December 2024 at Annerley.
The restaurant stems from owners' desire to revive authentic Kerala and South Indian food in Brisbane. Dum n Rum revolves around different cuisines from the International favourite Punjabi Butter chicken to truly South Indian Masala Dosa to the Goan Vindaloo to the Kashmiri Rogan Josh to the unexplored dishes of Kerala. We focus in bringing unique ingredients and cooking techniques from Kerala to the rest of the world.
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Stafford Heights Branch on a full-time basis (38hrs). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Indian cuisine and managing busy atmosphere and will be responsible for upholding our high standards of food quality, presentation and customer service.
Salary : $75000 per year +Superannuation

* Experience in a similar role within a fine-dining or restaurant setting.
* Knowledge of, and passion for Indian and fusion cuisine, beverage, and local producers.
* Passion for exceeding guest expectations and creating memorable dining experiences, with warm, attentive service.
* Well presented, with a friendly, positive, professional manner.
* Be highly motivated and organised, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to multitask.
* The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively, while calmly managing busy services.
* Strong administration skills, proficient in Microsoft suite, Outlook, POS Management, Reservation management .
* A can-do attitude, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining our high standards.
* Clear, effective communication.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to build, lead and motivate our team compassionately and effectively.
* Experience in induction, training and mentoring of new staff.
* The ability to lead by example; demonstating a hand-on approach and fostering a nuturing and respectful work environment .

About You:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Certification in Hospitality and Management(Cert III, IV or Diploma) or other relevant qualifications required
* RSA, RMLV required
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOP accurately.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
