**The Role**
The Procurement Manager is responsible for the design, implementation and management of successful procurement and sourcing strategies. Reporting to the Head of Personal Finance, you will lead and drive a strategic approach to current and existing suppliers, ensuring you represent Cash Converters in a professional manner and foster strong, brand-led vendor relationships to deliver value for money and outcomes that are aligned to Cashies strategic goals and targets.
**You will make a difference by**:
- Developing and maintaining key supplier relationships, ensuring SLA's and contractual terms are being met
- Provide a centralised function for organising and coordinating new RFP processes including vendor assessment and selection
- Implementing a centralised procurement strategy and contract register review to mitigate risk
- Assessing, monitoring and developing plans for procurement risk including strategic sourcing and analysis of external factors in collaboration with Key Management Personnel
- Ensuring regulatory obligations are met through the oversight and leadership of procurement, including but not limited to the modern slavery statement and annual submission
- Gaining stakeholder commitment and buy-in and successfully championing the implementation of ideas in alignment to needs and business strategy.
**What we are looking for**:
- 5+ years in a similar role or in supply chain management or strategic partnerships
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, enduring relationships with vendors, suppliers and stakeholders
- Proactive nature and highly service orientated
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of government policy regarding procurement, tendering and contract management
