Responsibilities
* Diagnosing and resolving technical faults promptly to minimise downtime and maintain system availability
* Supporting minor works, upgrades, replacements and system expansions in collaboration with project and technical teams
* Installing, configuring (not writing code) and maintaining health technology equipment and systems within customers' environments including audio visual, duress, messaging, nurse call, television and real‐time location services; extra‐low‐voltage electronics; IP/MATV infrastructure and smart endpoints; wired and Wi‐Fi, serial and low‐level bus networking; LiDAR, BLE, RF and IR technology‐based solutions and integrations
* Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance, identifying risks and providing clear recommendations
* Maintaining accurate service documentation, job records, reporting and parts usage using mobile service tools
* Working independently in live healthcare environments as a first responder to maintain system reliability, availability and fit for purpose
* Reporting to the Project & Service Delivery Manager
Qualifications
* Registered Open Cabling Licence
* Valid Driver's Licence and White Card
* Strong electronics, ELV, telecommunications or networking fundamentals
* Ability to work independently and manage workload priorities
* Strong customer‐centric mindset
* Experience in healthcare, security, AV, smart buildings or similar technical environments
* Solid understanding of IP networking and wireless technologies
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools
* Willingness to participate in a three‐week on‐call roster
