About the Role
As Key Account Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for major accounts and play a key role in winning, managing, and delivering projects.
This role blends relationship management with commercial follow-through, ensuring quotes are submitted on time, projects are converted, and jobs are delivered smoothly from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing relationships with major accounts
* Identifying project opportunities and ensuring we're invited to quote
* Preparing and following up quotes to maximise win rates
* Coordinating orders and overseeing job progress
* Working closely with internal sales and operations teams
* Resolving issues and following through with customers
* Assisting with counter service when required (not the primary focus)
* You'll work full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional after-hours customer activities as part of relationship building.
About You
* Experience in the electrical industry (essential)
* Personable, professional, and confident with customers
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Reliable follow-up and accountability — you do what you say you will
* Comfortable juggling customers, quotes, and projects
* Holds a current driver's licence
* Looking for a stable, long-term role rather than frequent job moves
