We are looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our team at our cafe located within our Jindivick clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a welcoming community environment and takes pride in providing great coffee and customer service.
About the Role
As our Barista, you will be responsible for preparing quality coffee and beverages, serving light cafe items, and creating a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
Working Hours
* Days: Monday to Friday (with potential for Saturdays in the future)
* Hours: Between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Shifts will be arranged based on peak periods and may include:
* Opening shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
* Lunchtime shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
* Closing shift: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages
* Providing friendly and efficient customer service
* Taking orders and handling payments
* Maintaining cleanliness of the cafe and coffee equipment
* Restocking supplies and assisting with basic cafe operations
About You
* Previous barista or cafe experience preferred
* Ability to prepare quality espresso-based coffee
* Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
* Able to work independently and as part of a small team
* Availability during weekday daytime hours
