- Prepare wall and floor surfaces, which includes removing old tiles, cleaning, and patching as needed
- Use adhesives to set tiles in place, cut tiles for edges and around fittings, and ensure perfect alignment and spacing
- Grout and polish finished surfaces, removing excess and ensuring long-lasting, high-quality work
- Apply waterproofing systems where required (must be licensed, or willing to obtain licensing)
- Maintain safe, tidy worksites and uphold company values of professionalism and attention to detail
- Liaise with project managers, other trades, and clients as needed to ensure smooth project delivery
Criteria:
- At least 3 years of relevant, recent tiling experience (residential preferred)
- Trade qualification (Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling), or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven skill in laying a wide range of tile types, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret basic site drawings and plans.
- Initiative, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Current Driver’s Licence, White Card (preferable), and Australian work rights required.
- Waterproofing licence an advantage (or willingness to obtain)
