Our Site Services Technical and shutdown team is looking for self-motivated, flexible, safety- and customer-focused Technical Advisors with demonstrated supervisory experience.
This role oversees the coordination of mechanical service and maintenance work for our clients on
OEM Equipment
during planned shutdown periods, as well as Project Equipment Mechanical Commissioning. Responsibilities include
inspections, testing and analysis
of equipment,
planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs
, and reading technical drawings and schematics. Strong planning skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Coordinate mechanical service and maintenance work for OEM equipment during planned shut-downs
Oversee project equipment mechanical commissioning
Conduct inspections, testing and analysis of equipment
Plan and manage
planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Lead and coordinate local and international personnel as required
Build and develop relationships with customers and stakeholders
Interface with customers for resource planning and scheduling
Travel internationally as needed
Maintain safety and quality standards on site
What You Bring
Mechanical Fitter / Machinist or similar mechanical trade background, ideally with experience in fixed plant mining equipment
Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service orientation
Technical advisory experience with OEM equipment (e.g., crushers, mills, screens, thickeners, belt filters, flotation cells, stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders)
Significant hard rock experience desirable
Supervisory experience and ability to lead teams
Semi-hands-on role with capability to lead local and international personnel
Proactive attitude and ability to build relationships with a range of people
Customer interface and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and within a small OEM team
Extensive travel required (internationally at times); willingness to travel
Computer skills with intermediate understanding
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
Experience planning resources with customers
Demonstrated shut-down work experience
