Description
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain assigned indoor and outdoor areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
* Carry out routine cleaning of service areas in accordance with Cleaning Standards and Run Sheets, including accurate documentation and noting reasons for any unserviced runs.
* Empty cigarette butt bins, clean weep areas, vacuum, mop, dust furniture, and restock supplies in designated facilities.
* Assist with room rejuvenation cleaning, gardening, and other ad hoc duties as required to support site operations and provide cross-role coverage.
* Undertake general gardening and landscaping tasks as directed by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
* Conduct pre-start checks, inspections, and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
* Wear appropriate PPE at all times and maintain a clean, safe workspace, ensuring correct disposal of hazardous materials and taking reasonable care for personal and others' health and safety.
* Handle chemicals and biohazardous waste safely, including sanitary and wastewater treatment bins, in accordance with procedures.
* Perform other reasonable duties as required to support operational needs.
Skills and Experience / Requirements
* A valid manual C Class Licence.
* Candidate must have demonstrated employment stability, with a minimum of two (2) years' tenure in previous roles.
* It is 8 : 6 FIFO roster, although the candidate must be flexible with roster arrangements, it may vary when transitioning between projects—at times longer or shorter.
* Labourer or Trade Assistant experience is acceptable.
* Must be Australian / NZ Citizen or Permanent resident.
