Leading global firm is seeking an experienced Manager to lead a small team of Reconciliations middle office staff, responsible for oversight of outsourced functions, including daily operations and overall performance.
The Middle Office team's primary purpose is to ensure clients receive high quality services. This includes the execution of daily production to meet SLAs and KPIs, management of queries, resolution of issues, deliver on client change
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for all reconciliations within Fund Accounting and Middle Office Services in an outsourced environment
• All reconciliations are monitored, reported, accurate, delivered on time, meet key risk targets.
• Communicate with key business owners and clients on reconciliation reporting, trends, processes and controls.
• Work closely with offshore teams and be key point person for escalations
• Support and lead key business change as it relates to reconciliations.
• Be the key point for Aus / NZ for reconciliations.
• Support client change and new services initiatives as required.
• Generate ideas for process improvement to systems and processes.
• Adhering to the risk and control framework, including the maintenance and update of internal procedures.
• Incident reports are managed within required timeframes
• Manage incident process effectively and within reasonable timeframes.
• Back-up and contingency plans maintained and understood in the event of system outages.
Required Qualifications
• Degree education – preferable commerce and finance.
• 5+ years Reconciliations experience
• 10+ years' experience in Securities Services
• Knowledge of the fixed income, equities, foreign exchange and cash & FX markets and corporate actions and derivatives
• Solid understanding of outsource Middle Office services.
