The business has a strong presence across South East Queensland and a proven track record in delivering complex institutional and commercial projects.This is a key leadership role overseeing the end-to-end delivery of a high-profile education project.
You will be responsible for managing program, budget, subcontractor engagement and client communication, working closely with a Site Manager and supported by an experienced team.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee project planning, procurement and financial managementCoordinate with site and contract teams to ensure smooth deliveryLiaise with the client and consultants to maintain clear communication and positive relationshipsMonitor program and cost performance, resolving issues as they ariseEnsure all work is delivered to the required quality, safety and compliance standardsRequirementsExperience delivering commercial or institutional projects valued above $10 millionHas worked their way through the construction ranks to Project Manager and has held that role for at least the past three yearsBackground in either trades (Carpentry or similar) or degree-qualified in Construction ManagementProven ability to manage subcontractors and lead construction deliveryStrong commercial acumen and communication skillsCurrent QBCC LicenceBenefitsThis is a long-term opportunity with a stable and growing builder that offers a supportive culture and clear career development pathways.
