We are seeking an experienced Commercial Broker and People Leader to join the Real Estate Team at Marsh. This role is available in our Melbourne office.
Job Summary
In this key placement and leadership role, you will provide guidance and support to a team of 6 Account Executives who manage and grow our portfolio of Real Estate Agents, Commercial Property Owners, and Conveyancers insurance requirements and placements. You will also manage several key client accounts, focusing on strategic relationship management rather than renewal targets.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
* Manage workflow approvals, development plans and technical oversight.
* Provide day‐to‐day leadership and mentorship to the team.
* Drive operational excellence and consistent client delivery.
* Maintain robust technical knowledge across Financial Lines (PI, Cyber, ML) and Commercial Products.
Qualifications
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or equivalent).
* Strong placement experience within commercial or financial lines insurance.
* Strong knowledge of General and Financial Lines products.
* A genuine interest in mentoring junior brokers.
* The ability to balance operational leadership with client oversight.
