An established Sydney design practice is seeking an experienced Architect / Project Lead to join its growing healthcare team.
With a strong pipeline of healthcare projects across both public and private sectors, this role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of hospitals, specialist medical facilities, healthcare precincts and clinical fit‐outs from design through to construction.
This position would suit a Registered Architect or experienced Project Architect looking to take ownership of projects, lead consultant coordination and play a key role in client relationships and project delivery.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for:
* Leading healthcare projects from concept design through to construction
* Managing project programmes, budgets and resourcing requirements
* Coordinating consultants, authorities and stakeholder groups
* Preparing and reviewing design and documentation packages
* Leading client presentations and project meetings
* Managing contract administration and site involvement during construction
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
* Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with healthcare guidelines, standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
To be considered, you will ideally possess:
* 7+ years' post‐graduate architectural experience
* Proven experience delivering healthcare projects within Australia
* Experience working on hospitals, health precincts, day surgeries, cancer treatment facilities, medical centres or specialist healthcare fit‐outs
* Experience delivering projects for public health and/or private health clients
* Strong knowledge of Australian healthcare planning requirements and building regulations
* Advanced Revit skills and BIM project delivery experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Strong documentation, coordination and project leadership skills
* Registration as an Architect will be highly regarded
