Position: Second in Charge (2IC) – 18.75 hours per week, permanent part‐time, afternoon only. This role is a permanent, part‐time opportunity in the OSHC industry, located at Ivanhoe VIC, 3079.

Schedule & Hours
Monday to Friday – split shifts from 2.15 pm to 6 pm.
Responsibilities
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you will be a key leader in delivering high‐quality care and creating memorable experiences for children in our service. You will support the Director of Service, lead the team, ensure compliance with care standards, and contribute to the overall child experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma-qualified in early childhood education and care, as per ACECQA standards.
* ELC qualification required.
* Previous experience in before/after school care or education is desirable, but training will be provided if needed.
* Strong communication skills with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
* Team player with excellent problem‐solving skills and a positive, can‐do attitude.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‐aged children.
* Thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
