Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Creative Direction
o Lead the development and execution of brand strategies that enhance positioning, drive customer loyalty, and engage both new and existing consumers.
o Oversee the creation of creative assets, ensuring alignment with the brand's purpose, vision, and voice.
o Foster brand awareness and advocacy through media, partnerships, and public engagement.
2. E-Commerce Strategy & Growth
o Define and execute the e-commerce strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and customer retention.
o Take full financial ownership, ensuring revenue, margins, and costs align with business targets.
o Expand digital sales channels, including direct-to-consumer websites, marketplaces, and mobile platforms.
3. Digital Marketing Leadership
o Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies across SEO, PPC, email, affiliates, display ads, and social media.
o Align online brand positioning with digital touchpoints, including influencers and paid media campaigns.
o Leverage data-driven customer segmentation to drive targeted campaigns and enhance customer journeys.
o Integrate digital and offline channels for a seamless omnichannel experience.
4. User Experience & Customer Journey Optimisation
o Ensure website and mobile platforms are optimised for speed, UX/UI, and functionality to improve key metrics such as conversion rates and average order value.
o Implement personalisation strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive higher conversion.
o Continuously refine customer journeys through data insights and feedback to remove friction points.
5. Technology & Platform Management
o Work with IT teams to integrate e-commerce platforms with business systems.
o Stay ahead of emerging e-commerce technologies and assess their impact.
6. Marketplace Strategy
o Manage third-party marketplaces, optimising product listings, pricing, and promotions.
o Ensure compliance with marketplace regulations and maintain key partnerships to maximise profitability.
7. Operations & Fulfilment
o Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to streamline order fulfilment, warehousing, and inventory management.
o Lead efforts to optimise last-mile delivery, improving speed, cost efficiency, and transparency.
8. Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring
o Use analytics tools to track key KPIs, including revenue, traffic, conversion rates, CLV, CAC, and ROAS.
o Provide data-driven reports to the executive team, with insights and recommendations.
o Implement A/B testing and experimentation strategies to optimise site performance and marketing campaigns.
9. Leadership & Team Management
o Build and develop the e-commerce team, fostering a data-driven and high-performance culture.
o Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, IT, and customer service to ensure business alignment.
o Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure optimal performance and ROI.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Skills

* Proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses to multi-million-dollar revenue levels.
* Experienced brand builder with a demonstrated ability to drive customer engagement.
* Expertise in digital marketing, online sales strategies, UX/UI, and platform management.
* Strong understanding of P&L management and financial oversight for e-commerce.
* Deep knowledge of e-commerce analytics, data insights, and performance metrics.
* Experience with global e-commerce expansion.
* Familiarity with omnichannel strategies and retail integration.
* Ability to be agile and adjust plans quickly to maximise revenue and profit.
