Procurement Position Overview
We are seeking talented professionals who can drive strategic sourcing initiatives and support the company's manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management goals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute sourcing of goods and services to meet business requirements.
* Comply with and implement Category Management strategies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Issue purchase orders in response to material requirements established by manufacturing, field operations, or projects.
* Implement agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management.
* Create request for quotations (RFQ) and organize competitive biddings from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services.
* Assess supplier performance and ensure that job tasks are correctly performed to impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or production environment.
* Advanced procurement certification preferred.
