**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
- Regularly update inventory databases, spreadsheets, and systems to reflect stock movements, adjustments, and changes.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer needs.
- Perform regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to quality standards.
- Initiate purchase orders and track deliveries to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain accurate lead times and delivery schedules.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures, including proper labeling, storage, and handling of goods.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and opportunities for optimization.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights on stock levels, turnover rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Identify and address potential inventory risks, such as product obsolescence or expiration.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate recording of inventory values and related financial transactions.
- Train and guide warehouse staff in proper inventory management practices and procedures.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to contribute insights regarding inventory-related matters.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient stock control.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Specialist, or similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with various departments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Physical ability to perform tasks related to stock movements, including lifting and carrying.
- Forklift License
**REQUIRED HOURS**
38 Hours per week.
