CPA is actively recruiting driven and curious Disability Support Workers to join our team at one of our key SIL houses in Wallsend
Primarily, this position involves in-home based support, providing opportunities to directly engage with clients and help build independence through working towards individual goals.
Your duties will include:
* Delivering personalized support by assisting clients with personal care, medication administration, and manual handling.
* Supporting clients to make their own choices and develop skills for independence.
* Building positive relationships with clients.
* Transporting clients in your own car.
Requirements:
* Experience in Behaviour Support or lived experience preferred, but a can-do attitude is essential
* Embodies CPA values, is client-focused, and motivated to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
* Availability for various shifts, including:
o Early mornings (6am - 9am)
o Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
o Afternoons & evenings (12pm onwards)
o Overnight shifts (10pm-6am)
* Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
