The Role Our client is a family-owned enterprise that manages 3,400 hectares of dryland broadacre cropping, specialising in cultivating wheat, barley, canola, and various pulses. The organisation is dedicated to operating a professional and efficient agricultural business, continuously enhancing its operational systems. The farm utilises modern Case machinery, including two headers: the 7240 and the 7250. The farm has well-planned infrastructure that includes a machinery shed, a hay shed, and storage facilities, all located within a centralised area of the farm. To streamline operations, the operation employs advanced software and tools such as Ag World, Field Margin, Trello, Trimble, and Case Pro 700 and 1200 screens. We seek a capable and reliable farm hand to assist with cropping and machinery operations. This position is hands-on and diverse, encompassing responsibilities like machinery operation for paddock spraying, sowing, spreading, and harvesting. The role involves workshop and general maintenance tasks, including scheduled servicing, repairs, machinery cleaning, yard slashing, and weed control. Additionally, candidates will assist with commodity logistics, including the loading and unloading of trucks and the cleaning of silos as necessary.
