About the Role

Based in Wollongong and reporting to the Regional Manager NSW/ACT, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role within Chubb Fire and Security business. In this role, you’ll lead teams of specialist fire technicians and support strong customer outcomes by driving service excellence, operational performance, and team capability. This is a role for a people-first leader who can drive an engaged, accountable, and high-performing culture while ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations.

This is a diverse leadership role that blends people management, operational coordination, customer relationship management and commercial support. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure service delivery is consistent, compliant, and commercially effective.

You’ll be instrumental in creating a positive team culture developing capability, encouraging collaboration, and driving engagement across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop your team by creating a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement.

* Drive team engagement by supporting employee development, recognising performance, and contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment aligned with Chubb’s values.

* Drive operational performance by leading the field team to achieve key service and productivity KPIs.

* Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service delivery remains responsive, professional, and aligned to customer needs.

* Champion safety and compliance by reinforcing EH&S requirements, safe work practices, risk management, and reporting obligations.

* Coordinate field operations including scheduling, work order management, backlog control, parts and equipment ordering, and job completion.

* Provide technical leadership and support as a key point of contact for technical queries, post-sale concerns, and field-based problem solving.

About You

You are a confident and capable leader who knows how to get the best out of people. You lead from the front, communicate clearly, and build trust quickly. You understand that strong results come from strong teams, and you’re passionate about creating a workplace culture where people feel engaged, respected, and accountable.

You’ll Also Bring:
* Proven experience in a service, operations, or field leadership role.

* Strong people management capability, including coaching, training, performance management, and team development.

* The ability to build a positive and high-performing team culture aligned to organisational values.

* Strong customer relationship skills, with a focus on service quality and responsiveness.

* Commercial awareness, including experience supporting budgets, cost control, and reporting.

* Experience coordinating operational workflows, field teams, subcontractors, and service delivery outcomes.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and lead effectively.

* A continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

* Experience in the Fire and or Security Industry is advantageous.

* Proven success in achieving KPIs in an operational or service environment is essential.

Pre‑Employment Requirements:Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of a mandatory pre-employment Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol screening, and National Police Check. The successful applicant may also be required to obtain and maintain additional security clearances relevant to the role.
