Job Title: English Tutor
Academy One is a leading tutoring agency in Sydney, providing personalized academic programs to students in grades 5-12. We are seeking an experienced English tutor to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality English tutoring to students in grades 5-12
* Creating personalized learning plans based on each student's needs and learning style
* Providing comprehensive support in various aspects of English, including reading, writing, and communication
* Fostering critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills in students
* Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
* Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
* Communicating with parents to provide progress reports and feedback
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring English to students in grades 5-12
* Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW syllabus requirements for English
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students of all levels
* Passionate about education and fostering a love for learning
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Have high school degree in Australia
